This world news blog is about how Russia received a gift of two, rare Persian Leopards from Iran. They received two Siberian Tigers from Russia in exchange. Both countries are trying to revive their respective large cat populations and are helping each other out. This is a good example of world news because it involves two countries trying to help each other out.

This sports blog is about the first game of the western conference semifinals in which the Lakers beat the Jazz 104 to 99. But as the game wore on and it was the bench’s turn to step up, the Laker’s bench was not up to the task. They lost an 8 point lead in the fourth quarter which is unacceptable. This is a good sports blog because it has player’s reactions as well as the writers opinion.

This blog is very interesting to me because it pertains to the world track and field circuit. I run track and am a big fan of the pro races. In this blog, some topics that are discussed are the major races held in May and it highlights some of the major stars on the track today.

This journalism blog is about Erin McDonaugh who won this year’s Society of Professional Journalists’ high school essay contest on press freedom understands the link between media freedom and civil liberties. This contest is used to increase the understanding and knowledge of free media. This is a good example of a journalism blog because it deals with current journalism issues.

This blog is an example of using photo journalism in a blog. It is about how the Phoenix Suns will wear their “Los Suns” jerseys during Wednesday night’s game to "to honor [the] Latino community and the diversity of our league, the state of Arizona, and our nation." This blog has a big picture at the top of it of two of the Sun’s players conversing while wearing their “Los Suns” jerseys.
