I think that my view has changed now that I know how much journalists communicate using new media and the internet. I thought most of it was still done using print but now that technology is taking over people's lives, it makes sense that journalism would follow the same way.

Blog Post # 7 Assignment: How do we communicate?
Communication comes in many forms. Whether it is through the news or online, on the phone or in a text, people will find a way to communicate. It has become much easier over the past century to communicate with all of the new technology that is helping to make communication become faster. The media that surrounds us is part of everyday life. It is where you can get your news and talk to people. It is what controls how we can get our news and in what form we can recieve it in. It affects me in which way I want to watch the news either online, on tv, or through the newspapers. The media is controlled by the news companies and journalists. They control what gets published and what the people will read. These journalists are expected to uphold the journalist's code of ethics when communicating with the public as well as being reliable, honest, and curtious.
I think that my view has changed now that I know how much journalists communicate using new media and the internet. I thought most of it was still done using print but now that technology is taking over people's lives, it makes sense that journalism would follow the same way.
